Michael Legg, Artistic Director
Michael Legg is in his first season as Artistic Director of Montana Repertory Theatre. For the last 11 years, he was the Director of the Professional Training Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville, the nation’s leading resident training company. At Actors, he directed world premieres of plays by A. Rey Pamatmat, Laura Jacqmin, Dan Dietz, Kyle John Schmidt, Marco Ramirez, Eric Dufault, Jennifer Haley, and Allison Moore, among others. For the past four summers, he’s served as the Artistic Director of WildWind Performance Lab, where he’s developed new plays by Brian Quijada, Hilary Bettis, Martyna Majok, Basil Kreimendahl, Emily Feldman, Steve Yockey, and Matthew Paul Olmos, among others. Legg holds an M.F.A in acting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
Salina Chatlain, Assistant to the artistic director
Salina Chatlain has been on staff at Montana Rep for over ten years, acting as Assistant to the Artistic Director, and for the past five years as Producer of the Missoula Colony. Salina is a native of Montana and earned a BFA in Acting from the University of Montana. Salina has been acting in live theatre for over twenty-five years, performing in countless Montana Rep productions and readings, including the Educational Outreach Tour of The Diaries of Adam and Eve, the China Tour of To Kill a Mockingbird, and the rolling world premiere of Broomstick, in conjunction with the National New Play Network.
Jason McDaniel serves as production manager for both Montana Rep and the University of Montana School of Theatre & Dance. He has worked as a scenic designer, technical director, scene shop manager, automation technician, scene shop foreman, carpenter, and instructor. His experience includes work with community theatre groups, local and regional professional theatre, Broadway, and national theatrical tours. Jason received his BFA from the University of Memphis and his MFA from North Carolina School of the Arts. Before joining the Rep in 2010, he was a member of the automation team for Le Rêve, the aqua theatre-in-the-round production at Wynn Las Vegas.
Teresa Waldorf, Educational Outreach Coordinator
Teresa Waldorf is the Educational Outreach Coordinator for the Montana Repertory Theatre and an adjunct instructor and publicity coordinator for the UM School of Theatre & Dance. Teresa received her MFA from UM in 1991 in Acting/Directing and continues to act as much as possible. Teresa produces, directs and acts in local productions. Recent titles include Parallel Lives, Wonder of the World, The Three Sisters of Weekhawken, and Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche. She has been a guest director for Missoula Community Theatre, most recently directing Calendar Girls. She and her partner in comedy, Rosie Ayers, can be seen several times a year doing stand-up and sketch comedy featuring The Home Shopping Girls, on local Missoula, MT stages.
