Montana Repertory Theatre is thrilled to invite you to our Playwriting in Schools program—a free, two-day workshop, Saturday, Nov. 2- Sunday, Nov 3,  designed to help educators like you inspire creativity and self-expression in high school students through the art of playwriting.

Join us in Missoula, MT, where you’ll learn the tools, methodology, and lesson plans needed to guide your students in writing their own 10-minute plays. Led by Jane B. Jones, an accomplished playwright, director, and educator with over nine years of experience at Actors Theatre of Louisville, this workshop promises to provide practical, hands-on techniques that you can implement in your classroom right away.

The workshop will take place at the Mansfield Library on the University of Montana campus, and with Jane’s expertise in creating playful and theatrical works, you'll gain a solid foundation for teaching playwriting to high school students.

This workshop will be a total of 10 hours of credit and a stipend for travel and housing will be provided.
