Zombie thoughts

By Jennifer A. Kokai & Oliver Kokai-Means

Live theatre meets interactive video game as audiences in schools, libraries and community centers across the state help guide Sam (who has anxiety) and Pig (who is punny) through this year's Educational OutReach play. And the only path to victory is if students make a series of choices that help Sam and Pig learn empathy for each other. This delightfully funny choose-your-own-path play, produced in cooperation with the United Way of Missoula County and Project Tomorrow Montana, speaks to students about the effects of and offers them ways to cope with generalized anxiety.

The fog

By Jean Ann Douglass

Fresh from university, clutching proposals and plans, a man tends his newly assigned patch of forest. At night, he visits with his wife. At night, the forest is free. Inspired by gothic drama, city planning, the creation of the national forest service, and Gifford Pinchot's secret marriage to a ghost, this world premiere short play will take place in and around the fire tower at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula.

The Phantom Bride is a 12-part media experience that starts at Kettlehouse South and ends at Conflux Brewing Company. At points along the walk, a new short chapter of the show unlocks on your map.
